About Jane’s Resumes…
I love you, Jane! I have applied for over 50 openings through Indeed and have already been on 6 interviews! Thank you from the bottom of my heart for creating a resume that truly speaks to my education, diversity and advocacy along with my passion for maternal infant care! God Bless you and your pen….. Kindly, Katherine, Asheville
Thank you so much for the work you performed writing my resume and for your advice, This was money well spent and I think a good investment for my future. B.K.
As you may remember from the last round of resume updates and my LinkedIn profile at the end of last year, I was not satisfied with my job at the time. Although it took some time and patience, a wonderful opportunity pretty much fell into my lap. I am happily going into my fourth week at a new company, in a job that I think I’m really going to love. I know the quality of my resume was a huge factor in getting me in the door.
One of my colleagues who was involved with the interview process said in passing how much my resume stood out, and she specifically listed many things! I am grateful to have partnered with you, and I hope you will file this next to many other positive remarks you’ve received over the years! Mary O’Brien
Thank you, Marie, for referring me to Jane Falter. She did an outstanding job with my resume. She was very accessible and replied to me in a very timely manner. Also, I had a serious time crunch, and she was able to help me met my deadline with even a few days to spare. I really appreciated her ability to understand me and my varied work history and to help create a cohesive picture of my experience. Thanks again for the referral. I would recommend her to anyone in the future. Courtney Stratton
My resume looks amazing! Jane has a knack for packaging my talents in a simple, straightforward format which thoroughly celebrates my talents, skills and accomplishments. She made the process easy, simple and fun! I recommend Jane to anyone who is considering spending precious time they will never get back in order to present themselves on paper. Let her do it for you! Celeste Ametrine, Asheville NC
Thank you for the work you’ve done with my husband. Doing his resume has shown him a reflection of his work that he would never have been able to see on his own. He knows and feels how much he’s learned and the tremendous amount of work he’s done, but wasn’t able to see himself as accomplished in his new line of work. (from his spouse)
Just wanted you to know I got a job in a small law firm in Asheville. My new boss was very impressed with my resume! Rachel Cox (Asheville)
I wanted to THANK YOU again, for providing such a concise and well written resume and cover letter for me! I have had two recruiters, both independent of each other, tell me this is the BEST resume they have each seen in over 10-15 years in the business!! (and later…) Thank You again for your help & advice with my resume…it paid off for me, as I have accepted an offer w/a privately owned pharma packaging company located here in NC to begin Jan 2nd!! Again as a credit to you, at the last (2) interviews I went on last week, two different people said my resume was the BEST written one they had EVER received!! Ed Bryant – Davidson, NC
“Wow! This (resume) is freakin’ awesome! Thank you so much!” K.H. Rochester, NY
Coaching with Jane…
Coaching has restored my confidence, self-awareness and self-esteem. I am more aware of what is important to me, what is missing from my life, and how to fill in the gaps. Totally invaluable. My husband notices the difference in me when I’m actively working with Jane and ask, “When are you talking with Jane again?” I enjoyed reading the material references, the exercises to lead me along the awareness path. I appreciated the recognition of my assets and successes—the awareness of the good I have done and the positive impact and changes I have made. Virginia Jurkin, Raleigh, NC
Working with Jane has been a very valuable experience. I liked the way she approached things from a spiritual/metaphysical/emotional vantage point rather than just a nuts and bolts, practicality position. After talking with her, I always felt more positive, hopeful, and energized after our sessions. For the first time, I have become much more open to what I want–versus what others expect me to do. Beth Squires, Arkansas
Jane is completely tuned into the needs and situations of the members of her career clubs. Her insights and probing questions are relevant and useful in immediate ways and she leads me to those significant ah-ha’s that are often buried inside. It’s wonderful having Jane as a resource in my life. She is supportive and, at the same time, she challenges me to truly take action towards my goals. It is so helpful to be a member of her career club with other wonderful people who are all striving towards the same kinds of things I am—I never feel like I’m all alone out there.
Bobbi Abbott, Asheville, NC
I enrolled in this program during a transition in my life. There were many thought-provoking exercises that were invaluable in helping me to clarify what was next for me. An important lesson during this program was for me to be true to myself. Born to Ride helped me clarify exactly who I was and what I wanted. As I went through each of the chapters, I would make notes to myself. I now go back periodically and review what was particularly meaningful to me—so much insight! So many of the lessons I have now incorporated into the way I think and live.” Lisa Tapp, Asheville
“Jane Falter’s expertise in the field of human resources, coupled with her knowledge of how to prepare someone for the interview process was paramount for my new found position in Asheville. After working nine years in a totally different profession–home improvement–and being completely blindsided by what to expect during an interview, Jane was able to take me through the interview process, step-by-step and ask questions that I could expect to be asked during my interview. As a result, after just one interview with a national HVAC company, I was hired!! I’m so grateful for Jane’s personal, one-on-one coaching and her attention to detail. S. Henry, Asheville, NC
You have been a blessing from the moment we spoke on the phone, to our first meeting when you made me feel quite at ease. You were able to articulate my strengths and weaknesses and relay them in the most perfect resume’ which undoubtedly got me in the door to interview with the new company I will be working for within weeks. Your coaching skills with regard to the interview process were also immeasurable and allowed me to articulate to my new employer just what I needed to convey without missing a beat.
I will continue to stay in touch with you and refer you to all who are in need of such a wonderfully gifted individual. Anita Adams, Asheville NC

Just wanted to tell you how much I enjoyed this newsletter. Maybe because I could relate so much to what you went through. It just made me realize that I was so unhappy the last few years at work because of how much things had changed from going from a small sized organization to a mega one. Your writing is excellent and you really captured it all. A Murray, Rochester, NY
You are fabulous in how you convey our thoughts, making me smile and nod, “ah, yes…” Linda Twyford, DE
