Why should I have my resume written by a professional writer?
Let’s face it, many of us struggle writing about ourselves. It is one of the most difficult things we have to do. A professional resume writer has the training and experience to take the pain out of the process and get achieve the desired results – a job you want!
A resume writer can help you identify accomplishments and uncover the gems in your background. In addition, they know how to best incorporate your skills and experiences for the best effect in your resume.
Why choose me?
It’s true–there are many good writers out there. However, with my experience, track record and knowledge of 30 years as a Human Resource Director, I know what employers are looking for and what is ‘eye catching’. I have worked in a variety of industries and organizations including non-profit, education, manufacturing, pharmaceutical and sales/distribution, so I have a comprehensive knowledge of various careers.
When I decided to write resumes professionally, my initial thought was that I already knew a lot about resumes–hadn’t I been writing them for years for my friends and family? Hadn’t I reviewed thousands of them in my career?
But because I always want to offer my clients the best possible product and service as possible, I decided to enroll in a certification program. There are many out there (who’d thought?)! I didn’t want the fastest–I wanted the best. So I enrolled in the Resume Writing Academy which is run by 2 top-notch professionals in the field who are nationally recognized. Let me tell you, I worked hard for that certification (my ACRW)! I probably worked harder for that certification than I did my master’s degree!
So, now I can honestly tell you that if you really work at it, you might be able to write an ‘ok resume. But I know I can write you a great resume!
